Ben and I had a really good laugh on Sunday. While Erech was getting ready for church he comes down stairs and says " Look at me I'm a Hooker." Ben and I cracked up laughing. As you can see the picture he had hooks on his head. It was so cute. I'm glad he doesn't really know what that means.

That same day during lunch Ethan says "how come I have Ice pubes in my cup?" Oh man we were laughing really hard. Of course we meant to say Cubes. Kids they say the funniest things.

Another 2 weeks has gone by, I have lost 3 more pounds. The closer I get to my weight goal the harder it gets. I just need to tell myself you have 3 more pounds. I am taking a weeks break from working out . I just hope I don't gain all my weight back. We as a family are going on a mini vacation. We are going to north carolina.

This is where we are staying. This cabin is really nice. Will post pictures when we get back.

I am so excited! I only have 6 more lbs before I reach my goal weight. 2 weeks ago I lost 2 pounds , and last week only 1. My goal is to lose 2 pounds every week. I am happy with 1 because it just means I'm close to my weight goal. I have to say my favorite class is body combat. I feel I get the best work out ever. So if you join or go to the Y try it out!

I saw this on one of my friends post on Facebook and wanted to share it. I thought it was cute. :)

I figured out why I'm fat! The shampoo I use in the shower that runs down my body says "for extra volume and body". I'm going to start using "Dawn" dish soap. It says "dissolves fat that is otherwise difficult to remove".

I've decided instead of posting my weight every week , I would do it twice a month. I don't want to bore you guys weekly. So last week I lost 2 pounds making me 141. This week I lost another 2 pounds. Which brought me to 139. I am so excited to finally be under 140. I don't remember the last time I was under 140. It was probably after I had Erech which it's been 4 years. Ouch! I am really happy with my results. I found a class that I really enjoy at the Y. I can't wait to reach my goal. I did however reward my self this week with eating pizza last night. I deserve it.

Week 1 went pretty well. It was hard but the outcome was good. I joined the YMCA. I have found that spinning class is not for me. The class was an hour long and I was only able to do 30 minutes. The whole standing and sitting all the time killed me. Which probably is a really good work out, but I don't think I'm fit for that yet. So I been taking step classes, which I really enjoy. Now I just wish that food didn't taste so good and that I could eat as much as I want and not worry about gaining weight. One can wish right? This week I lost 4 pounds. So now I'm down to 143. I'm getting closer to weight goal.

Have any of you seen that show on MTV called I used to be Fat? Any how I have been watching it lately and I've became inspired to lose weight myself. Before I got pregnant with Lauren I had gained 8 pounds. So when i found out I was pregnant I already had 8 extra pounds on me to worry about. I gained about 22 pounds during my pregnancy. Shortly after I had Lauren I lost those 22 pounds. sadly to say instead trying to keep loosing weight , I actually put an extra 10 pounds. So right now am at a place I'm not so happy with. On the show they record there day to day events and what they eat. Well I can't do that. So I thought I would blog my weight goal . I think this way I will be more motivated to lose the weight I want. They have 90 days to reach their goal. So that is what I'm doing. Every week I will weight in and let you know how I've done for that week. I have till May 5th to reach my goal. Right now I weight 147lbs. I would like to be 130lbs. I have 17lbs to lose.

6 Months Old

Lauren is now 6 months old. I can't believe that in 6 more months she will be 1. I'm enjoying each day with her. She amazes us every day. She has been our happiest baby. She wakes up smiling and talking every morning. She doesn't cry much. Just the usual if she is hungry or tired. She loves to smile. She also loves her brothers. She laughs at them daily. Lauren can roll, sit up and she baby talks. She loves eating. Right now her favorite food is Green Beans. She loves all her veggies. I hope she stays loving them.

Today Lauren went for her 6 month check-up.
She weighs 17 lbs and is 27 inch long. The doctor said she is doing great and growing strong.

Well Since I didn't start my blog when Lauren was born here is a recap.

When Lauren was born she was 7.3 lbs 20inch

At her first visit. She was 7.5 20 inches

1 month old, she was 9.3 lbs 21 3/8 inches
2 months, 11.5 lbs 22 5/8 inches

4 months 14.13lbs 25 1/4 inches.

She has changed so much. We are all so happy to have her as our eternal family.

Is it 2011 already???Time flies by, and it seems the more kids I have the quicker time passes :)
The last time I posted was in April 2010. OUCH:( As always one of my New Yeas Resolution is to keep up with my Journal. A lot of times that crashes. Its funny how some of my post on my blog and my journal start out by saying (" It's been a long time since of written... I'll promise to do better") lol. I will try my best this year to keep up with my blog not only for myself but for my kids to see all this later on. Some of my post maybe long and some short . Such as the cute little things my kids say or do. The most import event that happened in 2010 was the birth of our daughter Lauren Elizabeth. She was born July 28, 2010. Also Another cool thing was my sister and I were pregnant at the same time. Our daughters are 5 weeks apart. Keep checking my blog for post .

Strawberry Jam

Last week we went strawberry picking. Since I had all these strawberry, I decided to make some jam. Here are some pictures of the making.

Last week Ben and I took the boys to go pick some strawberries. We have never done this before.I was really excited to go.

They had a really cool zip line the kids could go on. The boys loved it!

They also had a free tractor ride.

They also had a small play ground the kids could play on. After we did all the fun stuff we went and picked our strawberries.
At the end we bought some homemade strawberry shake. It was delicious!
At the end of the road they had a elephant which you could go ride. Ben and Ethan went on it together.

Now I need to make some Homemade jam with all those strawberries.

Boat Ride

Couple of weeks ago Ben's friend invited us to go on his boat. We went down Ponce Inlet. This was the first time the boys have ever ridden a boat. We had such a wonderful time. The weather was perfect. We also went to Disappearing Island.

Spring Break

Ben and Ethan had Spring Break this year the same time. We decided to go and spend some time in Orlando. We stayed at the Shingle creek Hotel.This Hotel was really nice. They had 3 different pools.

So yesterday I was laying doing because I wasn't feeling so well .I told Ethan and Erech to go and play in their bedroom. I hear them laughing really hard. Erech comes running in my room looking like this. He looked like he had chicken pox . The boys thought it was so funny that they had markers all over their body. It wasn't so funny when I had to scrub it off.

Ben and I are expecting our third baby. We are so excited to be having another child. It worked out just they way we planned. I went to the doctors this past Friday. He said everything looked good and that I was fine. I'm 9 weeks and 3 days. I'm due August 13th. My next appointment is in 3 weeks. I will get to have a sonogram and get to hear the baby heart beat.

It's been a long time since I've posted anything. One of my New Years resolution was to keep up with my blog. I won't go way back from where I left of. I don't want to bore anyone. So I will start from Christmas. This year like every year we went to visit Ben Mom and Dad. They live in New Mexico. This year we flew out. They boys had a great time on the plain and did really well too. We spent 2 1/2 weeks there. Here are some pictures.

On August 25th Ethan started his first day of Pre-k. Ethan has been waiting all summer long for this day. He was so excited. I let him pick out his lunch bag and his first day outfit. Ben gave him a fathers Blessing before school. I cried before we even left the house. He did really good the first day. When I dropped him off at school he said" Mom go". Its been a week now and its a change for Erech and I. Ethan is loving school and His teach Miss Shannon.

Summer is coming to an End.....

Summer has passed by way to fast for us. We have done a lot these past few months. Our move ,Ben going to a new school. We Have been enjoying a lot of this sunny weather. we go to the pool just about every day, or we go to the Beach, and also the splash park. This summer we hit the museum a couple of times. We also took the kids to see the Light house. It was nice for us as well. I have lived near it for over ten years and that was my first time going inside it. This summer Ethan has learned how to swim with out floaty. Erech has been Growing each day. Next week Ethan will be starting per-k. I'm so excited for him and scared at the same time. I will miss spending everyday with him. I'm also excited to be giving Erech one on one attention. which some time was hard with two. Here are pictures of our summer.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Our family has been really busy this summer. I'm back in school. I'm only taking one class but it takes a lot of my time. It being summer I'm staying busy with the kids, taking them places and play dates with our friends. Ben has been excepted to Palmer Chiropractic . GO BEN!! School started this past week for him, which he's really enjoying. We also have moved with in the past two weeks. Its been a little crazy here. Ill post some summer pictures later.

June 17th, Erech turned 3 years old. It's amazing how fast they grow. Erech this year had 3 days of celebration. It started on June 14th. My grandma from Colorado was visiting us so we decided to do a little party with her. My Birthday is on June 16th so we did a combine party. We had such a great time.

On Erechs actual Birthday we took him to his favorite pizza restaurant and came home to have cake and open presents.
On June 19th, Erech had his Birthday party at the splash park. It was a hot day so it was nice being able to play in the water. We had a fun time. We would like to say Thank You to every one who joined us and for his gifts.

With in the past two weeks I no longer go shopping with out using coupons. I didn't realize how much money I could of been saving for our family. So last night I went to CVS and bought these items.1. 4 toothbrushes.

I started out with having $5.00 worth of cvs money
with coupons I only paid $ 1.00 out of pocket.

Family Time

I love the weekends. That's when we get to spend time as a family. Weather its going out or staying in and playing with the kids. Today we got the chance to go and see the movie UP. It was a cute kids movie. We got to watch it in 3-D. The boys loved it. When we got out Erech asked if we could go and watch it again. We also took the kids to McDonald. Which we all know they loved. I love my family and I feel very blessed to have them in my life and to be a mother to my little guys.

On Monday May 18th, My baby Ethan turned 4 years old. I guess I shouldn't say baby because hes not a baby anymore. He's 4! In my heart he will always be my baby. Wow time flies by so fast . On Monday I was remembering the day I went to the hospital to give birth to Ethan. What a joyful day that was for Ben and I. Ethan has been a wonderful blessing to us. On Monday May 11, 2009 My hubby Ben graduated from Daytona State College. He received his bachelors in Business Management. Ben congratulations on all your hard work and great achievements. Were all so proud of you!

Ben's brother Nathaniel also Graduated that night. We had a great night. Afterwords we went out to dinner to celebrate.

Potty

Erech has been potty trained now for 3 months. I'm still working with him on how to pee standing up. I'm not sure if he doesn't want to or hes still a little short. So the other way I caught him going to the bathroom like this.

I asked him what he was doing and he said he was going pee like a big boy. So to him if he is facing this direction hes doing it the right way. When he goes #2 he faces the other way. How funny is that.

Zoo

Yesterday we had the chance to go to the Jacksonville zoo. The boys and I went with my sister and her family. We had such a great time. The weather was perfect. They had there splash park open so we were able to take advantage of that too. My boys love animals so going to the zoo for them was a big treat. Next time were going to go early so they can play a little more.

Thanks to my friend Laura I was able to take the boys to the kids fair this past weekend. They had so much fun. It wasn't really busy so the boys got to ride the rides twice and didn't wait long in line. Ethan loved the little dragon roller coaster. Erech liked the bike ride. I really enjoyed spending time with my two little guys. Thanks Laura again for our bracelets.

The first game

Ethan had his first soccer game yesterday. Watch this movie and you will see how he did.

As you can see Ethan maybe took two steps and watched the rest of the time.
I'm not sure if he froze because there were to many people there or what. He does really well at practice, so I know he can play. It was funny to watch him just stand there.

Soccer

Ethan has also been in soccer lately. At first I was a little scared thinking like is he going to listen to his coach. Ethan surprised me, he did so well. He loved it. He learned how to stop the ball.

They took turns kicking to each other. The only problem is not touching the ball with his hand. All the kids were doing it it was so cute to watch them play. His first game is this weekend and were all excited for it. Ben is also helping out with the coach. So that's been really fun for him.

I know it's been a while since I posted anything but with two kids you tend to be really busy. Here are somethings that we been up to lately. The end of February we took Ethan with some of our other friends to the Monster Jam. Ethan was so excited ! He couldn't wait to go and see all those huge monster trucks.Before the show we had a tail gate party. some of the other boys played football.

Ethan and mason were a little to young to join them so they played swords with the tree.

We had such a great time. Ethan loved the whole show. He didn't want to leave.

Going potty for pennies

So this week I have been working with Erech on going potty. He is doing an awesome job. So far he has had one accident. He is staying dry at night too. Man doing this the second time has been really easy. I think Erech sees Ethan going so he wants to go too. I started giving Erech money each time he goes potty. Its only pennies , but I told him when he fills hes jar up I would take him to go get a new toy. This has been working really well for us. If there is any one who is having a hard time potty traning maybe give this a try.

As many of you know I love Bread. Especially when its warm with butter. I've been wanting a bread maker forever. Finally the other day when I was getting ready to go out with my sister, My hubby comes up to me gives me some money and says " Go buy yourself a bread maker. Oh man was I happy! I think he saw me checking some out online. I made my first loaf yesterday and it turned out great. I'm sorry to say I don't have a picture because we ate it all as soon as it came out. It was that good. Next time I make one I will show you guys. I Love you hubby. Thanks!

Valentines Day

I had a great valentines day. My husband and I went to Orlando to see the Blue Man Group. Wow were they amazing. We had such a great time. The show was entertaining from start to finish. If you haven't seen it go and see it! Before the show we had a great romantic dinner at Hard Rock. We got to sit up stair at there out side balcony.
The view was great.
We celebrated valentines day Friday night. We also got to do something Saturday. Our friends at our ward put a dance together.That was so much fun. I think I can say that we all had a great time.

Last night I was able to finally see my new nephew Michael. My sister in-law gave Birth to him on Friday January 23rd. He's so precious. I think he looks just like mom and dad. Congratulations to mike and Allison on there new baby boy.

Time with my sister and Friend

Today I had the opportunity to spend time with my sister and my friend Sarah. We started our day be going to the temple. I don't think they were to excited when I told them we were leaving at 7:30. I mean who wants to get up that early on Saturday. They were great troops and did it. We had a great time at the Temple. We later went to the book store and had lunch at Loco Tropical. I had a great time with them.

Allison's Baby Shower

This past Saturday my sister-n-law Allison had her baby shower. It was great celebrating the arrival of my nephew. They are going to name him Michael Jr. I'm so excited for the family to be having a boy because he will be able to carry our family name. My brother Michael was the last one, and now we will have someone else. I hope Allison has a good delivery.

Our Trip

Sorry for my last blog, the computer wasn't working well. So the rest of our trip was really fun. The boys got to see snow. It actually snowed the day after Christmas. We took the boys to the mountains to play with snow. Here are some pictures. Enjoy!

I'm Back!!

Many of you know that for Christmas the family and I went to New Mexico. We drove out there. The boys were excellent.The watched movies the whole time.

The first week for us was kinda bad because both boys were sick. Ben and I took turns going out. Christmas was Great! The boys had so much fun and they got spoiled with gifts from mom and dad, also the grandparents. It was so exciting because Ethan kept asking when is Santa coming. Christmas morning I was finally able to say that he came. Ethan couldn't wait to get up and see what Santa brought for him.

Yesterday December 14th Ben and I celebrated our Anniversary. Ben and I have been married now for 6 years. Since yesterday was Sunday we celebrated it on Saturday. We had the opportunity to go to the Temple and do sealing. We always do that around our Anniversary, Its a tradition we have. We then went to lunch and the movies that night. I just want to say how lucky I am to have found some one who loves me so much as Ben does. Hes a great husband and a provider. Not only is he good to me but hes a wonderful father. I love Ben so much and I'm so happy to be married to him. We have grown so much together and learned a lot from each other. I'm happy to know that were sealed to one another for All Time and Eternity.

St. Augustine

Friday we as a family went and Visited St. Augustine. We had such a wonderful time. Even the boys were well behaved. We started out by doing some shopping. If you haven't done any Christmas shopping yet , go there! They have great deals and are always cheap.

After we went to old town. We stopped and had dinner at Pizza alley. They are known for the #1 pizza in St Augustine and men are they right. There pizza was Delicious.. Try going there. We then went and saw the Christmas Tree. They boys loved seeing all the lights and they had this one man band which was cool. We had such a fun time!

Clifford and Santa

Today at our mall they had it where the kids got to eat breakfast with Clifford the big Red dog and Santa. I thought that would be a fun thing for the kids to do. The kids really loved it. Ethan didn't want his picture taken with them but Erech did. Erech would give them High Five and hugs. He was so cute. On top of everything Chick-fil-A gave us all free Breakfast. Afterwords we let the kids ride the train and see the signing Bears. We had a great time this morning spending time together. Erech and I with Clifford.

So this Friday one of my Christmas presents arrived early. Ben let me open it since this year will be spending Christmas with his family. So guess what it was?? OK I'll tell you . Its Guitar Hero for our x-box 360. I was so excited! This game is so much fun. We been playing it every night. I'm still on the easy level, but that's OK with me.

Its been so nice having my dad around. For a while now Ben and I have been able to do date night every Friday. My dad has been nice enough to watch the kids for us. So This Friday we had the chance to so seethe movie Four Christmas. I've been waiting to see this movie for awhile now. I really liked this movie. It was funny and cute.Even Ben enjoyed it. Weekend

I love when the weekend comes around. To me its Family time and I love it. So this past weekend we got my dad to watch the kids so we can go out and enjoy time with our friends. We had a great time doing that. On Saturday we as a Family went and saw the Movie Bolt. I was a little nervous at first because I dint know how Erech would be. He ended up doing really well. Ethan and Erech sat there watched the whole movie eating popcorn together. This movie was really cute. A good one for the family to see. Check it out!

Thankful...

This past week They boys and I made a turkey craft using their hand and foot. They were good about me tracing them but I did all of the cutting. Which this craft turned into me doing it all. Anyways here are pictures.
I asked Ethan what he was thankful for and he said"For Erech to play with."
I thought that was very nice of him to think of his brother.

I also asked Erech what he was thankful for and he said" My blankie".

I then thought of all the things that I'm grateful for. Here are couple of them
1) My Husband Ben... Hes a great provider for our family. He loves me very much. Hes patient and understanding with me. Don't get me wrong I get mad at him at times but we work it out. Hes my best friend.
2)My little Boys Ethan and Erech. I could not imagine my life with out them. These boys make me laugh every day. I love getting hugs and kisses from them. They are everything to me.
3) My family.. They support me through with everything I do in life. They are always there for me. I have the best family..
4) My Church.. I'm very grateful to have the gospel in my life. For all the blessings it has given my family. I know that church is True. I know our Savior lives and loves each and everyone of us.
5) My friends. I would have to say I have the Best of Friends a girl could ask for.

Day out with Ethan

This Saturday I got the Chance to spend the whole day with Ethan. We started out by doing some shopping. He was super good the whole time. Afterward I asked him where we wanted to go for lunch and he said McDonald s. So we went and had lunch there. We then got home and got ready to go see The movie Madagascar 2.

This movie was super cute. Ethan really liked it. He sat there the whole time and ate almost a medium bag of popcorn all by him self. We then came home and got Erech to go to Alyssa Birthday party. The boys had tons of Fun at the party. I had a blast Spending time with just Ethan.

Happy Halloween

This year for Halloween we took the boys to the Jacksonville Zoo for there Spooktacular event. We had a great time. They had tons of station passing out candy and treats. They had music and things for the kids to do. It was busy but we had fun.

The pictures above are of the boys fishing for spiders at our wards festival.
Our ward had there Fall Festival this year and they put together games and truck-or treating for the kids. They had a blast going from car to car to get candy. I love Halloween. I know the boys enjoyed it too. I know they had a blast with their costumes. The next morning the wanted to wear it around the house to. Which I let them to get my moneys worth.

FHE/ GHOST

Since Halloween is around the corner we decided for Family Home Evening to make some Ghosts. We started out by making a craft ghost.

Afterward we went and hung our ghost outside.
That evening we also made Ghost cookies. Those were fun and messy to make.

To end our night off we Rented the movie Casper. We had Such a fun Ghostly night.

Here are Direction for the cookies if you want to make them with your family.

What You Need

1 pkg. (6 oz.) BAKER'S White Chocolate

18 NUTTER BUTTER Peanut Butter Sandwich Cookies

decorating gels and/or assorted small candies

Make It

MICROWAVE chocolate in medium microwavable bowl on HIGH 1-1/2 minutes or until chocolate is completely melted, stirring every 30 seconds.

SPREAD chocolate onto one side of each cookie for the ghost's "body." Cool slightly.

DECORATE with gels and/or candies to create "faces." Cool until chocolate is set.

Biketober Fest

This past weekend in Daytona Beach we had Biketober fest. That's where the bikers come down for the weekend and show off there bikes, and also to enjoy the ride. Well Erech wanted to join them. So we got him his own bike. He also wanted a tattoo to fit in. Ben and I gave in and let him get one on his arm. So here is a picture of his new tatto and new Bike.

It only took about 1 minute to get his tattoo. The tattoo artist was super fast :)

Fire Safety

Today our local Chick-fil-a had a fire safety block party. We had tons of fun. The boys learned about fire and got to sit on a fire truck. They gave out goodies bags, they had a dalmatian dog there, and a jumpy house. It was a blast!! Here our some pictures of our fun day.

Candy Monster

I had to share this because I thought it was funny to me. So we got this hand candy bowl for Halloween and every time you go near the bowl the hand goes down like its going to grab you. Erech and Ethan are scared of it. Especially Erech. Its so FUNNY every time Erech wants candy he will talk to the hand. He say's Monster can I please have some candy I'm very hungry . He wont go near the hand. I guess he wants the hand to give it to him. They run pass the bowl when they need to pass by it. Its just funny to me.

Swimming Class

This past Month Ethan Has been taking a swimming class. Hes doing super Good. Hes almost swimming on his own. He hates to jump in the pool, but hes doing really good with his arms and kicking. Erech has gone once and wow is he fast. Right now they have a break and will start again at the end of this month.

Friday night was date night for Ben and I. We went to see Tropic Thunder. It had some funny stuff in it. They had great actors, but there was a lot of cursing. I should of have know that since this movie is rated R. Overall I give this movie a B-.

Ok I know I been slacking on this whole blog thing. I tend to forget about it. Well lately I been busy with the boys. We had Hurricane Fay come though Florida. I'm so thankful that it didn't hit us as bad as it hit other places. It rained all week. We did loose power for a little oven an hour but it wasn't to bad.

I love to learn to make new things. Most of you who knows me knows that I'm a picky eater. So I told myself that I would try to make something new to eat at least once a week. I would like to share with you what I made this past week.

Sweet and Sour Ham Steak
Grocery List:
1⁄2 tsp oil
2 ham steaks (7 to 8 oz each), cut in half
1 bag (16 oz) frozen sliced peaches, thawed, cut bite-size1
jar (9 oz) hot or sweet mango chutney (found on the salsa isle)

How to make it:
1. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add ham and cook 4 minutes, turning once, until lightly browned. Remove to a serving platter.

2. Add peaches and chutney to skillet and cook, stirring, just until hot. Spoon over ham. Garnish with chopped cilantro, if desired.
